How do I get there

If you come from Salgado Filho Airport:

You can catch the T5 line at the front entrance of the airport and get off at Oswaldo Aranha Avenue. Then, catch the the D43 – Universitária or 353 - Ipiranga/PUC – which will leave you at PUCRS's main entrance, on Avenida Ipiranga.
A taxi from the Airport to the PUCRS Center of Events will cost approximately R$ 30.

If you are in the Porto Alegre metropolitan region:

You can catch the urban trains service (Trensurb), get off at the Estação Mercado (Market Station), and from there go to the adjacent bus termal next to the Market and take lines D43 - Universitária, 343 - Campus Ipiranga, 353 - Ipiranga PUC or 476 - Petrópolis PUC to PUCRS. The ferry terminal is also adjacent to the Trensurb station and you can catch a ferry to Guaíba.

If you are in the Cidade Baixa neighboor:

The line 343 - Campus Ipiranga passes along Avenida João Pessoa.
A taxi from Rua da República up to the Center of Events costs apprximately R$ 20.
