Linux New Media, publisher of Linux Magazine, will administer the exams for LPI certification at the Events Center of PUC-RS in Porto Alegre during FISL 14.
The exams LPIC 1 – Linux administrator Junior level (LPI 101 and LPI 102 exams) - and LPIC 2 - Linux Administrator Advanced Level ( LPI 201 and LPI 202 exams) will be administered during FISL 14. If there is interest the Senior Level LPIC 3, that separates specialists in different area will also be offered. However, preparatory courses will not be offered for this.
The difference this year is that Linux New Media will be offering a " Certification Kit:" In addition to being able to divide the payment in up to 6 installments, those who sign up will also be sent training material to preparte and they will be offered an intensive revision course before the exams.
