The 14th Edition of FISL Organizing Committee and Enfato Multicomunicação Agency, in charge of the event's Press Office, will host, June 11th, a Workshop about concepts and uses of Free Software aimed at journalists and media professionals.

The goal is to empower journalists and opinion makers with info about development, objectives and uses of GNU/Linux systems, and other Free Softwares. Invited specialists will speak about the differences between concepts of Free Software and Open Source, besides questions such as the Marco Civil (the Brazilian Internet Act, a legislation yet to be approved), disclosure of government data and source-codes.

A preview of the attractions that will be showcased during FISL (july, 3 to 6, at the PUCRS Center of Events)  will also happen.

The event will be aired live at the Free Software TV, and the transmission will be made available later.
