City Hall of Porto Alegre is getting ready for Fisl11

Mayor Jose Fortunati, of Porto Alegre, got together with different representatives of several prominant businesses to define the sponsorship of the 11th International Free Software Forum. The Forum will run on July 21st through July 24th 2010 in the Center of Events of PUCRS in Porto Alegre.
Keynote Speakers Confirmed to fisl11
July 5, 2010Some of the main keynote speakers for the 11th International Free Software Forum have been confirmed. Here is just a few confirmations. Scott Chacon from GitHub, Wietse Venema, the creator of Postfix and tcp-wrappers softwares, Michael Hanselmann, system administrador for Google in Switzerland, who also works on developing the Ganeti project.

The 153 lectures selected for fisl11 can already be checked. The published results show the efficiency of the new system used, based on the algorithm of the Swiss league.
The evaluation process of the talks this year has gain agility with the participation of registered assessors and gave the free software community involvement in the construction of the program.
In early June, subscribers received a "token" and instructions on how to assess the talks. The new system has been tested and approved in March 2010.
From this moment the speakers are being contacted and confirmed after beginning to be structured program schedule.
The lectures were divided into 17 tracks.
