The Associação Software Livre (ASL) (Free Software Association) an NGO and the Projeto Software Livre Brasil (Free Software Brazil Projetc) have the honor to invite you to participate at the 11th edition of  the Fórum Internacional Software Livre (fisl11), on July 21st-24th, 2010, at the 'Centro de Eventos' of the PUC/RS, at the city of Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil.

This event is considered to be the biggest free software meeting of the Latin America's  communities and one of the worlds largest. At the FISL one can find business men,  public and private sectors CEOs, researchers, students, professors as well as general public.

The 11th edition will allocate the first day of the forum for previous meetings arranged by the free software communities and users groups to discuss about related projects.  In the following three days we will have the expositions, lectures, discussions, workshops, the Free Arena of Programming, the Robotics Show and disperse activities related to Free Culture.

In 2009, at the 10th edition of the fisl we had 8,232 participants and for the first time the event received people from all Brazilian states, 27 different countries and also the visit of the Brazilian President, Luis Inácio Lula da Silva.
